Description Drip diamonds wax baller box 1 oz in 3.5 gram jars
Drip diamonds are a form of cannabis concentrate that you can smoke or vape. Just like it’s name suggests, drip THC diamonds wax appear as solid crystalline structures that are semi-transparent and, well, look like diamonds.
While concentrates open up a whole new world of cannabis consumption, it can also be daunting for new users. This is largely due to two factors: 1.) consuming concentrates is a little bit of a learning curve especially if you’re used to dried flower and 2.) the THC content in drip diamonds wax typically hovers between 97-99%! That’s at least 3 times higher than your average weed.
What are drip diamonds wax?
Drip Diamonds look a lot like the diamonds you’re already familiar with, hence the name. They are THC crystals made when live resin is extracted from cannabis using a cold-extraction method and pressure. However, the diamonds that form aren’t THC yet, they’re pure THCa crystals, and they check in at 97-99% THCa. The other 1-3% of a THC diamond is terpenes and other cannabinoids, making these diamonds the most potent and pure extract product on the market. Each one varies in size from a grain of sand up to several-gram rocks.
THCa is an inactive cannabinoid. At a fundamental level, THCa is a non-psychoactive form of THC that needs to be heated up in order to transform into the stuff that gets you high. That’s why Drip diamonds are typically smoked in a dab rig or vaporizer. Joints and bongs don’t burn hot enough to make this transformation.
Will drip THC diamonds get you high?
Yes, THC diamonds will get you rip-roaring, hair-raising, mind-blowingly high…but only if you use them correctly.
Remember, drip THC diamonds contain THCA — a non-psychedelic cannabinoid. So, if you pop a handful of these little gems like Nerds (don’t do this), you probably won’t feel a thing (other than maybe a stomach ache).
To unlock the high inside the diamonds, you have to decarboxylate them. Decarboxylate (a.k.a. decarboxylation or decarb) is just a fancy, technical term for applying high heat.
So, if you’ve ever smoked a joint or blazed a bong, you’ve decarbed your weed.
The high heat from the lighter or torch breaks the bonds inside the THCA molecule and separates the THC from the A (the acid). When you inhale the resulting smoke (filled with lots of THC and very little A), the THC will get you high.
So, basically, you’re going to need to find a way to smoke your drip diamonds wax if you want to experience the extreme high within.
That said, when you do take it correctly (through decarboxylation), the high from THC diamonds feels bright, fresh, and energetic because you don’t get the interference from CBD or the effects of the terpenes. All you get is the THC.
